Welcome Friends

On December 27, 2006, the life of a once vibrant, beautiful 10 year old girl was extinguished.

It was not by natural causes, nor was it by accident. Her life was cut short by the actions of her negligent parents, who forced her into a car after a night of heavy partying. Little Mallory had no other choice but to enter that vehicle with her intoxicated parents. As the following article shows, there where prior warning signs of abuse, including her father’s arrest several months earlier for domestic battery.

It has taken over "18" months, but due to the timeless efforts of family, friends and supporters of Justice4Mallory, Mallory's father, Ronald Marvin Homer Jr. was arrested on July 09, 2008 for AGGRAVATED MANSLAUGHTER OF A CHILD, VEHICULAR HOMICIDE and RECKLESS DRIVING WITH SERIOUS BODILY INJURY (see the PRESS RELEASE ).

He spent about two weeks in jail until he was bonded out. After several court hearings attended by Justice4Mallory members at the Bradford County Courthouse, Ronald Homer accepted the following Plea Deal:

  • 6 Years in State Prison *
  • 15 Years State Probation
  • 120 Hours Community Service in Trauma Center
  • Lifetime Revocation of Driver's License
  • Financial Restitution to Victims
  • Substance Abuse Education

* Must serve at least 85% of the sentence per Florida Law.

The sentencing will take place at the Bradford County Courthouse on March 24th, 2009 at 2:00 pm.

The "Justice for Mallory” Foundation was developed in hope of pushing the prosecutors and legislators of the State of Florida to hold all parents accountable for crimes they commit against their children.

It was created to provide a resource to people who have been victimized by a Drunk Driving crash.

Finally, it is an everlasting memorial of Mallory Lee Homer, a beautiful angel that filled our lives with joy, and is now filling Heaven with her smile.
